Atlanta-based rapper Lil Durk partnered with Hosea Helps on Friday, May 8, to hand-deliver over 300 free hot meals and 2,300 masks to frontline workers and those at risk.
The Chicago-born musician visited Hosea Helps’ food pantry off of Fulton Industrial Boulevard drop off Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and fries, prepared by Big Dave’s Cheestakes, which were distributed by Hosea Helps staff members.
Earlier that day, Lil Durk delivered 200 meals and 200 masks to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Lil Durk made similar contributions in Chicago last month with organizations in the community. He plans to go to several other cities to do the same.
