Martel Sharpe serves as the Director of Public Relations for The Atlanta Voice. He has been with the organization for three years. Martel began his time with The Atlanta Voice as a freelance writer before being hired as a copy editor. He was later promoted to Managing Editor of Publishing, a position he held for two years.

As Director of Public Relations Martel is responsible for managing relationships and partnerships that The Atlanta Voice is affiliated with, in addition to publicizing different items concerning the organization and its staff.
