While the Super Bowl brings celebrities near and far to the host city, Atlanta is no stranger to hosting big events. Wednesday during Super Bowl week, there are key events and brunches for individuals to attend!

The Sports Power Brunch

First, The Sports Power Brunch will celebrate leading women in sports who have made a major impact in the sports industry. LPS Consulting PR and WISE Atlanta have partnered to create a memorable event that encourages and empowers women to continue to thrive and excel in the sports industry and beyond.

LPS Consulting PR in partnership with WISE Atlanta (Women in Sports & Events) will host the Sports Power Brunch: Celebrating the Most Powerful Women in Sports on Wednesday, January 30th, Noon-2:30pm at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in Atlanta, GA located inside Phipps Plaza in Buckhead.

The Sports Power Brunch will take place during Super Bowl week in Atlanta. This sold-out awards brunch will be hosted by Jovita Moore, WSB-TV (ABC) News Anchor and moderated by LaChina Robinson (ESPN).

The keynote speaker is Brittany Cranston, Head of Athlete & Sports Talent Partnerships at Twitter.

NFL Legends Bowl for Education

Wednesday evening, Georgia native and fourteen year NFL veteran Takeo Spikes and The NFL Legends Community will jump-start their Super Bowl festivities by hosting their “Bowling for Humphries” charity bowling match presented by Cigna. More than forty NFL players and celebrities will compete in a charity bowling match at Midtown Bowl to raise funds for Humphries Elementary School in Southeast Atlanta. 100% of the proceeds raised from the event will benefit Humphries Elementary and will be used to provide both educational and real-world experiences beyond the boundaries of the classroom setting.

Event partners include presenting sponsor Cigna, Jim ‘N Nicks, Tito’s, Chelsea Floral and Event Design, The NFL Legends Community, and Love thy Neighbor.

Confirmed guests include, Pro Football Hall of Famers Jerome Bettis, Eric Dickerson, Rodney Harrison, Andre Reed and more than 40 former NFL players.
