The Hawks have filled their second and final two-way contract after inking former Kentcuky Wildcat forward Alex Poythress today. Undrafted in 2016, Poythress, 24, played under a similar deal with the Indiana Pacers last season. He played in 25 games during the regular season and played a much larger role for the Pacers Summer League team.

Poythress averaged 12 points per game and shot better than 50 percent from the field during Utah and Vegas Summer League this year.

The Savannah native, who was ranked among the top 20 players in the country coming out of Northeast High School (Clarksville, TN.), played  six games for the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2016-17 season before joining Indiana.
