Everyone knew who the Atlanta Falcons would play and where the games would be played as soon as their 2024 season ended. However, the small matter of scheduling the games was the final objective. Well, tonight, the National Football League has released the 2025 schedule for the Falcons! Notably, Atlanta has two Sunday Night Football games and two Monday night football games!
First and foremost, the Falcons will open the season against Baker Mayfield, Mike Evans and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, September 7,
The Sunday Night Football games will see the Falcons travel to face the Minnesota Vikings on Week 2 and make a trip to Santa Clara to face the San Francisco 49ers on Week 7.
The Monday Night Football games will be played inside the palatial Mercedes-Benz Stadium. First, the Falcons will face the Buffalo Bills on October 13th. Then, Atlanta will face the Los Angeles Rams in their late-season matchup on Week 17.
Most teams will play on Thursday nights this season. The Falcons are no exception as they will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their Week 15 matchup at Raymond James Stadium.
Tuesday, the NFL announced the Falcons will travel to Berlin, Germany to face the Indianapolis Colts on November 9th.

The Fine Print
According to the NFL: In Week 18, two games will be played on Saturday (4:30 PM ET and 8:00 PM ET) with the remainder to be played on Sunday afternoon (1:00 PM ET and 4:25 PM ET). Finally, one matchup to be played on Sunday night (8:20 PM ET). Specific dates, start times, and networks for Week 18 matchups will be determined and announced following the conclusion of Week 17.
Flex Scheduling: For Sunday Night Football, it may be used up to twice between Weeks 5-10, and any week during Weeks 11-17. Games that are moved out of Sunday Night Football slots will be played either at 1:00 PM ET, 4:05 PM ET, 0r 4:25 PM ET.
