On Sunday afternoon, President Donald Trump praised Georgia Secretary of State and GOP  Kemp at a rally in Macon, referring to the Georgia Republican gubernatorial candidate as a “strong man” that possesses a “strong personality.” The rally took place at a hangar inside the Middle Georgia Regional Airport.

“I know Brian. This guy doesn’t stop,” Trump exclaimed. “This is what you want. He’s an incredible manager. He’s been successful all the way up the line. He’ll bring it to heights you wouldn’t believe.”

As thousands of people cramped the airport hangar, many of whom wearing red “Make America Great Again” trucker hats, President Trump whipped the crowd into a frenzy as he railed against Kemp’s Democratic opponent, Stacey Abrams, saying she’s “one of the most extreme far-left politicians in the entire country.”

“He will keep your jobs and wages rising, he will provide great schools and health care for your loved ones and he will keep your family safe. He will stand behind our military and behind our vets,” Trump said. “He’s always behind our police and our law enforcement and he will never let anything bad happen to our Second Amendment, which believe me, is under siege.”

Kemp has made sure to hitch his proverbial wagon to Trump. From the moment the Kemp campaign aired the ad featuring himself in a pickup truck claiming he would round up illegal immigrants, Kemp has continued to provide red meat for his ardent supporters.

Oprah Winfrey, who campaigned for Abrams last week was also a target for Trump. The President said Winfrey was a friend of his until he ran for office but is now urging Georgia voters to listen to his endorsement instead of hers.
