The NBA draft will take place in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center on Thursday, June 21 and if you cannot be there to cheer on the Atlanta Hawks three first-round draft picks including the third overall, then perhaps you can make it downtown to STATS Brewpub or to The Tabernacle for either of the viewing parties taking place that night.

The Atlanta Hawks and Kumho Tire are hosting the two affairs for both season ticket holders and the general public. Appearances by Killer Mike (addressing the crowd at STATS at 6:45 p.m.), Hawks public address announcer Ryan Cameron, Fox Sports South play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun and team Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Andrew Saltzman are on schedule for the parties.

STATS, a downtown restaurant and bar, hosted the Hawks draft lottery party last month and free tickets for the draft party, scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m,  are available to the general public via Eventbrite. According to the announcement on space for the event is limited.

The Tabernacle, an iconic venue that has hosted some of music’s greatest acts, will have Cameron announcing the event. The draft party is for season ticket holders and the media.

The Hawks will also be making their 2018 draft cap available for purchase.

Along with the third overall pick, the Hawks will also be selecting 19th, 30th and 33rd (second round) overall.
