Michelle Williams Defends Fiance’:
The folks at OWN decided the people were interested in a reality show with Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child and her fiance’ Chad Johnson. As viewers are getting to know the couple, a clip had the innanet streets disturbed.
While talking to their counselor, Michelle, who suffers from depression, revealed that Chad asked if she had taken her meds, after she basically told him he didn’t understand how she communicated because the singer was Black and he’s white.
Michelle stated:
Communication this week has been good until last night. We had a disagreement. I said something to him along the lines of, ‘Well Chad, because you are not black, you would not understand why I communicate the way I do. Maybe because you didn’t grow up around a lot of black people. And so that was very very offensive to Chad. He talked about a moment of how I said it’s because I’m black, and you’re white, and you don’t know how black people talk.
But this is not to justify, but yesterday when we had the disagreement, he says, ‘Did you take your meds today?’ Now THAT!
Baaaabbbiieee, the world had a fit about this exchange. So much so that the couple discussed it with V 103’s Frank & Wanda.
That conversation that we were talking about happened the night before. It was not filmed so people don’t know what I was saying to Chad for Chad to be like, ‘Did you take your meds?’ Now, I didn’t like when he say that. But people also did not hear when he apologized.
I think that’s what irritates us. We are a soundbite generation. We won’t take the time and the effort to actually watch a whole episode. We will take a soundbite and we judge a person, we judge a show, we judge a relationship based off of one little clip. He apologized and I apologized for cutting. I got my mama in me, I can cut you with my words.
That was based off of communication. He took something the wrong way and I literally said, ‘Was it because I’m a Black woman? ‘And you don’t understand that my elevated voice is out of passion and not anger. I’m so animated that I could wear Black people out.
But we didn’t want to make it a thing about race. It literally is, ‘How do I communicate?’ Because he’s not the only person who’s told me my words cut. My mother, my friends have told me the same thing. So it’s not a Black and White thing. It literally is just me just, ‘You need to kind of tone it down.’
Wypipo get so mad when you point out they are so detached from reality that many times they have no clue what goes on in the world of others. Then, he brought up her mental illness. Something this man knows she suffers with. How hurtful.
I truly feel all wypipo are inherently racists anyway.

Toni Braxton Didn’t Pick Her Sisters as Maid of Honor:
Earlier this week, Toni Braxton sat down with Wendy Williams and revealed that none of her sisters are her Maid of Honor. As a matter of fact, Jada Pinkett-Smith is the Maid of Honor and her best friend.
She stated:
“None of them (will be my maid of honor), it’ll be my best friend, my girlfriend Jada!”
I never knew these two were friends. I mean, I ain’t never seen them hanging out with each other. I know, I know…we don’t know them on a personal level but still. I probably wouldn’t want my sisters as my Maid of Honor neither. It would be so much drama anyway. Y’all know how those Braxton women can do.
Can we talk about how Birdman traveled behind Toni’s tour bus for 22 cities? They weren’t even together then and he still showed up for her. I love that! As far as a wedding date, the Grammy winner revealed the New Orleans native gave her a deadline. She stated:
We almost had a date, well we had two dates, but we were doing “Braxton Family Values” and we were going through a little drama, and I was like, ‘Okay the wedding is a good thing to get all of us sisters together,’ but I couldn’t get us all together.”
