Courtney Brooks’ solo exhibition, The Scenic Route, opens Dec. 12 at Nina Baldwin Gallery in Atlanta’s Castleberry Hill arts district and features 26 works that reflect Brooks’ personal, spiritual, and emotional journey through travel, Black womanhood, care, collective identity, and the racialized limitations of the region’s transit system.
