Supreme revealed their 2018 spring and summer apparel, and some of it features images of civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Supreme Saint, who has no official affiliation with the brand but provides customers with better chances to obtain the goods, drew attention to the latest collection in a tweet that was met with widespread criticism.

Critics of the Dodge commercial were quick to point out that MLK had strong opinions on capitalism and the effects it has on the black community. Twitter users hammered Supreme for how the new apparel looked and for not learning from Dodge’s mistakes.

This was not the first time the brand used the likeness of a civil rights figure on their clothing. In 2015, they used Malcolm X for a line of hoodies as well.

Blavity reached out to the clothing brand for comment on the recent controversy surrounding the hoodies and is awaiting a response.
