As SEC Media Days wrapped up, the Southeastern Conference released their All-SEC team roster and 2021 SEC prediction polls last Friday. Just as many fans and experts predicted, Alabama was predicted to win the SEC championship on December 4, at Mercedes Benz Stadium.

The Crimson Tide finished with 84 votes while the Bulldogs were predicted to win the East. However, with 45 votes, they finished in second place on the ballot.

Texas A&M and Florida are expected to finish second within their divisions with the Aggies having one first-place vote and the Gators having seven first-place votes.

LSU and Kentucky are the next teams to finish third within their divisions as the Wildcats finished with two first-place votes and the Tigers finished with one. Both of these teams will also meet on October 9 in Lexington for the first time since 2014 where the Tigers won 41-3.

Along with the SEC division and championship predictions, the preseason All-SEC teams were announced.

The first team included notables such as Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral, Auburn runningback Tank Bigsby, and Texas A&M running back Isaiah Spiller. Alabama wide receiver John Metchie III and offensive linemen Darrian Kinnard (Kentucky) and Cade Mays (Tennessee) are other notables.

The Georgia Bulldogs have three players on the second team with J.T. Daniels, Zamir White, and George Pickens.

Auburn Tigers quarterback Bo Nix finished on the third team.

The Defensive first team includes returning defensive lineman Jordan Davis for the Georgia Bulldogs, Derek Stingley Jr. of LSU, Josh Jobe of Alabama, and defensive back Kaiir Elam of Florida.

Kentucky defensive lineman Josh Paschal and Gators linebacker Ventrel Miller of Florida headline the second team.

The Bulldogs have three players on the defensive third team with defensive lineman Trayvon Walker, linebacker Nakobe Dean, and defensive back Lewis Cine.
