Reopening plans include a wide range of health and safety measures that adhere to the CinemaSafe protocol and guidelines.

CinemaSafe is a program promoting protocols and guidelines developed and supported by leading epidemiologists to support a safe return to movie theatres.

Commissioned by the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), this program puts the health and safety of our guests and employees at the center of movie theatre operations across the country.

Additionally, Regal asks guests to be masked at all times. This includes activities in the theatre lobby, auditoriums. and restrooms. This includes face shields with masks or appropriate nose and mouth coverings (i.e. gaiters). Guests will be provided masks who arrive at the theatre without one.

Masks can be removed only while eating and drinking while seated in an auditorium. Employees monitor auditoriums throughout each performance as a standard practice.

Where socially unacceptable behavior is observed, including the non-wearing of a mask, this will be addressed with the patron.

Plus, guests have the ability to purchase food and drink on the Regal Cinemas app. Every other register will be closed to maintain social distancing. A reduced menu offering will be temporarily available.

Self-service condiment stands will be closed.

Plus, Regal promises to increase air intake by 50%-100% above normal levels, which will help circulate more fresh air throughout auditoriums. Their system will maintain two empty seats between groups (1 seat at recliner locations) to maintain proper social distancing throughout the movie.

At theatres where performances are non-reserved, persons will be requested to leave two seats between groups.

Group sizes will only be limited where required by a state or county mandate.
