The award-winning Hawks Studios, the in-house creative team for the Atlanta Hawks, has received two Southeast Emmy Awards nominations. The pieces recognized highlight the team’s community work with partner State Farm and a behind-the-scenes player profile. The Southeast Emmy Awards are a division of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, a professional association dedicated to media excellence. The Atlanta, Georgia division was founded in 1975, and consists of Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, Mississippi and South Carolina.

Hawks Studios received nominations in the News and Program Specialty Category- Sports/Feature Segment for “Hawk Life: DeAndre’ Bembry”, produced by Natalie Hendricks and edited by Zach Fletcher and the Promo Category -Community/Public Service (PSA) Campaign for “Neighborhood of Good: Lynwood Park”, produced by Matt Bunting with production manager Natalie Hendricks and Spaceman Productions.

“We are excited to receive nominations for the Southeast Emmy Awards. This is a true testament to all our hard work over the last couple of years,” said Hawks’ Sr. Vice President and Executive Director Matt Bunting. “Our team is dedicated to harnessing the power of entertainment and sport to create multiplatform content that engages fans and revolutionizes the way advertisers connect with their audiences.”

Hawks Studios says they are devoted to “creating innovative, buzzworthy and original content to grow relationships with the club’s corporate partners,” according to their press release. The production team is inspired by the City of Atlanta and the NBA.
