GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and global beauty brand NARS Cosmetics hosted a “Night of Beauty” to provide Lupus Warriors and their caregivers with the opportunity to engage in educational conversations around lupus, receive makeup tips from professional beauty gurus and partake in a panel discussion featuring lupus experts and a local Lupus Warrior.

The event was targeted toward African American women, who are 2-3x more likely than Caucasian women to develop lupus.

Held at Lenox Square Mall and attendees had the opportunity to chat firsthand with Lupus Warriors and experts about the activation and the importance of providing women with tools and skills to build their confidence and empower them to better manage their disease.
