Former President Barack Obama took to Twitter on Mon., Dec. 25, 2017 to wish his followers a Merry Christmas. In his first year outside the White House in eight years, Obama tweeted this photo along with the following message:

“On behalf of the Obama family, Merry Christmas! We wish you joy and peace this holiday season.”

The former president also made a surprise visit to some very happy and excited children at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington.
