The American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive from July 2-4 at the Mall of Georgia.
The American Red Cross Blood Drive will help mitigate the severe blood shortage they’re experiencing as the number of trauma cases, organ transplants and elective surgeries rise which is impacting the nation’s blood inventory.
The drive will also take part on the upper level across from Dick’s Sporting Goods and appointments can be scheduled in advance using code ‘moga’ for Mall of Georgia at the website redcrossblood.org.
The next dates after the July 2-4 event will be August 14th and 15th from 12:00 PM through 5:00 PM.
Other dates include:
September 4-5 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Sept. 6 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
October 30-31 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
November 26 – 28 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
December 26 – 28 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
The September 4-5 dates will see all donors at the Mall of Georgia receiving a special edition Red Cross Campfire Mug.
