A new study has found that pregnant women are 37% more likely to be killed by a firearm than women who are not pregnant, and that every 1% increase in state-level firearm ownership is associated with a 6% increase in all-cause homicide and an 8% increase in firearm-specific homicide rate in pregnant women.
