Elizabeth Lawson, a fashion student at SCAD Atlanta, has been awarded the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Design Scholar Award for Sustainability, becoming the only Black woman to win the scholarship in Georgia and receiving a $25,000 scholarship for her innovative approach to sustainable fashion.
