The Atlanta Voice announces Tabius McCoy as the newest addition to our newsroom, joining us as a Business & Economic Reporter through the Report for America program.
Tabius is one of 107 emerging journalists selected nationally to be part of Report for America’s 2025 corps, a prestigious initiative that places talented reporters in local newsrooms to cover underrepresented beats and communities. His work will focus on economic mobility, small business development, workforce trends, and the financial issues impacting Atlanta’s diverse communities.

His reporting will be essential to helping readers better understand the forces influencing Atlanta’s economy—from housing affordability and job creation to entrepreneurship and innovation.
