Southside Medical Center has announced the acquisition of Cumberland Pediatrics, a long-standing pediatric practice serving families in Marietta, Smyrna, Vinings, and surrounding metro Atlanta communities.
The acquisition strengthens Southside Medical Center’s ability to expand access to pediatric care and enhance services for children and families across the region. Cumberland Pediatrics, established in 1991, has built a reputation for providing comprehensive and patient-centered care from infancy through adolescence.
As part of the transition, Cumberland Pediatrics will become integrated into Southside Medical Center’s network of providers, allowing patients to benefit from expanded services, coordinated care, and access to additional health resources. The acquisition supports Southside Medical Center’s broader efforts to improve health outcomes and increase access to quality healthcare in metro Atlanta.
Continuity of care will remain a priority throughout the integration process, with existing patients expected to continue receiving services with minimal disruption.
