Morehouse School of Medicine has launched a Perinatal Patient Navigator Program with a $2 million grant from the Amerigroup Foundation to address maternal health disparities in Georgia, training women from the community as health navigators, community health workers, doulas, and lactation specialists to provide critical support and guidance to mothers.
