The Women Elevating Women Symposium (WEW) will host a one-day symposium on May 23, at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta. This highly anticipated event features a wide range of learning opportunities, career guidance, and personal growth tools for women CEOs and business executives.

Designed to connect multicultural business women to their professional communities and to discover effective strategies to scale business and encourage professional growth, WEW brings together the top women business leaders around the country.

This year’s WEW Atlanta symposium features keynote speakers Phyllis W. Newhouse, recipient of the prestigious 2017 Young Entrepreneur of the Year US Technology Award and CEO/co-founder of Xtreme Solutions, Inc., along with Maya Penn, an 18-year phenom, award-winning founder and CEO of Maya’s Ideas and youngest recipient to be listed on Oprah Winfrey’s Supersoul 100 Entrepreneur list.

“I am honored to be a part of the Women Elevating Women symposium where multicultural women can help continue to pave the path of success for other entrepreneur and diverse women,” Newhouse said. “This symposium can bring opportunities for not just like minded-women to come together and share ideas but it allows women to leave with clearer direction on what it will take to make their careers and businesses more successful – while focusing on women of different cultural backgrounds.”

In addition, the symposium features workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities including:

  • Breakout Session on the “Five Pillars of Success: Cultivate, Communicate, Collaborate, Courage & Connections” by Betty J. Hines, CEO and founder of WEW
  • Panel Discussion with Millennials, “Why Collaborate,” moderated by Jenelle Coy, Founder of Coy+ and recipient of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Marketing Advertising List
  • Presentation of this year’s winner of the WEW Phyllis Winchester Newhouse Award
  • VIP Reception with Phyllis Winchester Newhouse from 5-7 p.m.

“We are thrilled to be hosting our WEW one-day symposium in Atlanta,” said Betty J. Hines, founder and CEO of WEW. “The one-day symposium will bring together like-minded business professionals to learn about successful strategies and tactics in helping scale their business and elevate their careers.”
