These celebrities just keep me talking. Chile, lemme tell ya!

Porsha Williams and Fiance’ Celebrate Gender Reveal:

Porsha Williams has a lot to be happy about these days. She has a new man, engagement ring, and the 37-year-old reality star is expecting a new bundle of joy. This past weekend, she and her fiance’, Dennis McKinley, celebrated with friends and family, announcing the two are welcoming a baby girl.

Marlo Hampton, Cynthia Bailey, and Eva Marcille were among family and friends, showing their support.

Thinking about her public divorce from a few years ago, a few failed relationships afterwards, and now being engaged and expecting a child-I can definitely understand her joy in the clip below. Check it out.

Kanye West and Candace Owens Create ‘Blexit’ Campaign:

Lawd,  Kanye is really like a gnat at a BBQ. It just seems like he won’t go away.

On today’s episode of the sunken place, the rapper has teamed up with Candace Owens, young conservative and alt-right commentator, for the ‘Blexit’ Campaign, which stands for ‘Black Exit’–urging Black folk to exit the Democratic Party.

Candace stated:

Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero Kanye West.

A superhero, really? Chile, the only thing this man is saving is racism-dassit!

After all that crying Yeezy did on the radio show–claiming he didn’t mean to offend anyone with his TMZ remarks and how he had no one there to stop him–this is what he goes and do. There were so many folks caping for this man. I mean, I have never seen so many digital capes in my life. I’m so siccuh him and all that he stands for. Will the real Kanye please stand up?!

I’m over ‘he needs therapy and he ain’t been the same since his mama died’ rhetoric. This man is co-signing racism, pure racism, and he is giving even more power to the alt-right and Trump community. Crazy thang is his mama,Donda, was a professor at an HBCU. I know damn well this ain’t what she envisioned, can’t be.

Sad…Just sad.

As far as Candace, she’s trash.

Jermaine Dupri Says Celebrities Shouldn’t Boycott Super Bowl:

Photo: Google

Ya know, I like Jermaine Dupri. But, he should really stick to his craft, music.

Super Bowl LIII is taking place in the ATL, shawty! While many A-Listers are not supporting the NFL this year, JD feels differently.

Recently, the music exec expressed sentiments of disagreeing with celebrities (Rihanna, Jay Z) who choose to boycott the superbowl, in support of Colin Kaepernick. He actually believes that artists should use their platform to say what they have to say.

He stated:

Use your platform, say what you’ve gotta say. Let people be heard because the more you talk about it, the more things change, more than boycotts. Boycotts and marches don’t seem like they work to me, I’m sorry. I think they should send a message while they’re onstage, take advantage of your platform.

Taking advantage of your platform is to not do the Super Bowl as well. But it seems really interesting to me because we are in an industry where you see so many people do things like boycotting something one year and the next year they’re buddy buddy with the thing they boycotted.

The more people speak on something, the more they talk about it, then the more people feel like it’s something they have to address. I feel like people ignore boycotts.

Has this man been under a rock? We have talked about racial injustice and police brutality since before the Civil Rights and ain’t much changed. I’m not quite sure if the money has his judgement clouded, ignorance, or both. But, I do know that this logic has no effective change. As a matter of fact, he’s been silent all this time and should remain that way.

Stick to music, J.D. Stick to music.
