One of the biggest productions of its kind ever in Atlanta, Red Bull Music Presents: ATL is Burning Ball will bring Atlanta’s ballroom underground into the spotlight and celebrate the city’s vibrant LGBTQ+ scene on Nov. 9 to the Georgia Freight Depot. Half dance party, half ball, the event will see icons and beginners alike walking in over 10 categories, while artists representing queer and underground club scenes across the country will keep the crowd moving late into the night.
The event will kick off with a genre-melding dance party of club & electronic music, featuring performances and DJ sets by Leikeli47, QUEST?ONMARC, Cakes da Killa, Leonce, Divoli S’vere, JSPORT, Ripparachie, and Montré.
Hosted by Precious Ebony and soundtracked by MikeQ, Byrell The Great, and Vjuan Allure, members of 10+ iconic houses (such as House of Mizrahi, House of Escada, and House of Ebony) will walk in the ball portion of the event. The ball will also feature performances by legendary ballroom figures Leiomy Maldonado, Dashaun Wesley, and Koppi Mizrahi.
Red Bull Music Presents: ATL is Burning Ball is brought to life in partnership with Atlanta collectives Morph and Southern Fried Queer Pride. Advising on the ball is Andre Mizrahi, the father of the House of Mizrahi, which has multiple chapters around the world. Atlanta currently has one of the largest and most active ballroom scenes in the country.
