Virtual tax franchise, ONE STOP Taxes, recently held a red carpet premiere of the highly-anticipated film “Harriet,” on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Midtown Art Cinema.

The exclusive premiere attracted some of the City’s most influential figures including, Elizabeth Omilami (Actress/CEO of Hosea Feed the Hungry), and Denise Williams (Williams and Co Realty and Real Estate Broker). Notable Attendees for the evening included: Bill Duke (Actor/Producer/Director), Les Brown (Renowned Motivational Speaker/Author), Elizabeth Omilami (Actress/CEO of Hosea Feed the Hungry), Rushion McDonald (Brand Architect/Steve Harvey/Stephen A. Smith), Nina Grace (Star of “Ready to Love” on OWN), Algebra Blessett (Recording Artist).

“I think we need to raise awareness for quality films, telling the stories of quality people of color. As black business owners, we want to lead the charge and inspire other business owners to do the same in supporting these films” stated Mowbray Rowand, CEO of ONE STOP Taxes.

Based on the life of historical figure Harriet Tubman, “Harriet” depicts the tale of Tubman’s escape from slavery and her transformation into one of America’s greatest heroes, as she was able to free hundreds of slaves and change the course of history.

Not only did were guests able to enjoy an advanced screening the upcoming historically-based film, but they took part in ONE STOP Taxes’ weekly series, “Rich Belief’ Roundtable,” hosted by Cherine Rowand, COO of ONE STOP Taxes.
