The NBA preseason schedules were recently released and the Atlanta Hawks will be playing two of their five preseason games at McCamish Pavilion and three on the road. One of those road games will be a professional homecoming of sorts for rookie guard Trae Young, who was born in Lubbick, Texas but attended high school in Norman, Oklahoma at Norman North High School.

The Hawks preseason opener will be on Monday, October 1 against the New Orleans Pelicans (7:30 p.m.). The team will then  take to the road against Memphis at Fed Ex Forum on Fri., Oct. 5 and Sun., Oct. 7 in Tulsa at the Bank of Oklahoma Center against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Atlanta returns home to play the San Antonio Spurs at 7:30 p.m. on Wed., Oct. 10 before closing the preseason on Fri., Oct. 12 against the Miami Heat at American Airlines Arena.

The regular season schedules have not been released as of press time.
