The Georgia Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Rural Prosperity Summit next week, Oct. 3-4, at the University of Georgia’s Tifton Conference Center.
During the two-day event, which assembles over 350 business leaders and elected officials to address economic challenges and opportunities that are critical to Georgia’s rural communities, industry experts and economic development practitioners will facilitate inclusive discussions surrounding issues such as talent attraction and retention, infrastructure needs, local entrepreneurship and innovation, and accessible healthcare.
Featured guests and speakers include Georgia Chamber President & CEO, Chris Clark; Dennis Chastain, Georgia EMC President & CEO; Amy Carter, Deputy Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development; and more. Gubernatorial Candidates Brian Kemp and Stacey Abrams have also been invited to attend.
