Just days before Christmas, nationwide retailer DTLR, partnered with Atlanta-based award-winning rapper and philanthropist T.I. and his nonprofit foundation Harris Community Works to sponsor a shopping spree for 50 local children. On Dec. 21, the children were brought to the DTLR store at West Ridge Shopping Center on MLK Jr. Drive, where they were able to select clothing items and shoes of their choice.

DTLR also donated $30,000 to young mothers and families, nearly 100 bikes for kids in partnership with Reebok®, and surprised teachers via Zoom with UGG boots and slides to honor their efforts educating their students amidst many challenges during the pandemic.

Harris Community Works, a subsidiary of Us or Else Corp, is a nonprofit, charitable organization that works to empower and elevate the community through education, awareness, and opportunity. The organization focuses on community impact projects that help improve lives through community transformation initiatives, civic engagement efforts, community outreach, and youth development programs.
