Returning for its 73rd year, The Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show recently took place at the Georgia World Congress Center Aug. 17-19.
Centered around the theme “Connect. Create. Grow., this year’s the event featured more than 100 classes, 300 exhibitors and three days of shopping and entertainment. With new exhibitors and a curated show floor, there were a plethora of networking opportunities for beauty industry professionals, as well as attendees.
Known for being the nation’s largest trade event for multicultural beauty professionals, The Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show is recognized for promoting a sense of connection and community within the beauty industry.
While its hair shows and show floor are two of its biggest attractions, patrons were also introduced to new products and styles, and enjoyed musical performances; with Keke Palmer being featured act.

One of the highlights of this year came in the form of a first for Bronner Bros. when master stylist and educator, Kevin Carter, won first and second-place honors in the Fantasy competition.
Carter created two stunning floral-inspired looks in 45 mins total, demonstrating the perfect combination of speed, technical precision and creativity.
Additionally, the Bronner Family awarded a $2500 cash donation and products from its Tropical Roots Collection to Styles4Kidz. Funds will help expand the non-profit’s local programming, which supports transracial adoptive families and kids in foster care. White parents learn to care for their black and biracial kids’ hair and skin in a safe, friendly environment.
