Because I know all things, let me tell you that there’s a new show coming to BET, BET Social Awards, hosted by Mike Epps. It will be the best and worst social media of 2017.
The live show takes place on Feb 11, 2018 in Los Angeles. But, there appears to be confusion on who the idea belongs to.
According to reports, producers–Bervick J. Deculus, LaMichael Finney and Calvin Valrie–are accusing the 47-year-old comedian and his camp for stealing the concept.
Allegedly the producers pitched the show to Epps’ cousin but never heard back. The plan was to never pitch it to BET but FOX. A cease and desist has since been sent to Epps.
