Award-winning publicist Maleeka Hollway, founder of The Official Maleeka Group, is hosting the Social Proof Success Live Conference on Jan. 15-16.

Social Proof Success Live Conference is a two-day virtual conference designed to help entrepreneurs and businesses learn how to incorporate effective public relations strategies for 2021.

“The conference is for business-minded professionals and executives who want to learn how to build out a PR strategy for 2021”, Hollaway said. “I decided to host this virtual conference because we need to move forward from 2020 and look ahead to show up and create a plan for success for our business in 2021.”

A graduate of Alabama A&M University, Hollaway was named Publicist of the Year 2019 at SpeakerCon and appointed to the Forbes Coaches Council in 2017. Her clients are featured in Forbes, The New York Times, Vogue Magazine, BET, and many more.

The event features Brian King CEO of iGloblCoach as its emcee and includes speakers Josh Ellis, editor-in-chief of Success Magazine; Jason Feifer, editor-in-chief of Entrepreneur Magazine; Lamar Tyler, founder & CEO of Traffic Sales & Profit; Clinton Senkow, co-founder/COO of Influencive; Candace Ledbetter, owner of CNBetter Media; Adrienne Dorison, co-founder of Run Like Clockwork; and more.

“I am really excited to be part of Social Proof Success because the messages we share are going to eliminate some of the pain points for public relations and marketing pros, as well as editors like me,” Ellis said. “So often our goals are aligned, but it can be hard for us editors to cut through the clutter of a full inbox to spot the diamonds in the rough. We’re going to show you how to make your pitches stand out and score the big feature placements that drive results for your clients.”

Attendees will learn how to prepare their businesses for intentional visibility opportunities in 2021 and how to generate their own publicity and buzz for short- and long-term media outreach.

The conference was originally set to take place last year but had to be rescheduled due to COVID-19. And due to the climate of the economy, not everyone can afford to hire a team to assist them with their business.

“I want this conference to be an opportunity for business-minded professionals to learn from the top exactly what they need to do to garner media attention for their businesses and to see a new level of success in the new year. The conference idea stemmed from questions of how do I get press and publicity? Or How do you get invited to speak on a podcast?” Hollway said.
