Illegal Tire and Waste Dumping

In 2012, more than 9 million tires were dumped in Georgia. More than 1600 were dumped in seven Atlanta neighborhoods alone. Used tires is not part of the regular waste that is picked up by the City of Atlanta. It is up to the neighborhoods to combat this problem. On Saturday, August 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The T.I.R.E.D. Educational Forum (The Initiative to Reduce and Eliminate Dumping) will be held at the New Schools of Carveer, 55 McDonough Blvd, Atlanta 30315.

Employment Application Session on Tuesday, Aug. 26

Comcast recruiters will be on site at the Adamsville Workforce Development Office to take applications for Rep I Telesales employees on Tuesday, August 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Adamsville Workforce Development is housed in the Adamsville Regional Health Center located at 3700 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, SW in Atlanta, GA 30331. Business attire is required with no jeans, t-shirts or sneakers allowed.

Applicants who receive employment will be expected to call existing customers to sell various Comcast products and services.  Sales representatives must provide the following services while carrying out other responsibilities as assigned.
