How have you served your district and the city best in the past?: I have served on the School Council Board at Sarah Smith Elementary for past 2 years. (community elected position) Volunteer Coach at Peachtree Presbyterian (Buckhead) Volunteer Coach at SmokeRise Elementary

Spearheaded neighborhood clean-up initiatives in my district Mentored at risk 5th graders at SmokeRise Elementary

If elected, what issues will you give highest priority to?: Greater transparency in government. Safety/Infrastructure Improvements Entrepreneurship and job creationSupporting the Family & Community Relations Education partnerships

What do you plan to accomplish during your term in office?: I will focus on Family & Safety, by improving infrastructure locally (i.e. repairing sidewalks, replacing street and bridge lights, maintain community landscapes. I will create greater opportunities for small business owners and start-ups to compete for upcoming building and retail projects. I plan to merge the government lines between City Council and the School Board to create effective partnerships between business and education.

What is your vision for the future of Atlanta?: I see Atlanta being the mecca for business, family, and innovative concepts. The talent is here, but the leaders must be able to speak that language. Atlanta is at a crossroads, and for the city to become the place that trail-blazes the path for how cities do business and love their residents, we must embrace that the time is now for the existing leaders to pass the torch to the new leaders destined to take their place.

What specific strengths do you bring to the position you seek?: I am proud law abiding citizen and native of Atlanta. I have done business with and for major Corporations as well as guided the business agendas and budgets of small to mid-size companies for over 10 years. I have worked on the ground level with educators and entrepreneurs in various states. Lastly I have a vested interest, 3 small children, in which I plan to leave this place better than I found it.
