Atlanta’s BronzeLens Film Festival Awards Coveted Top Honors

A total of six films received top honors at the fourth annual BronzeLens Film Festival in Atlanta, Ga.
Founding Artistic Director Deidre McDonald, Awards Host Palmer Williams and Executive Producer Kathleen Bertrand.

Proceeds from the Give Thanks 5k Run/Walk will go to support Kile’s World’s art initiatives and its upcoming camps. “The arts were extremely important to my son, Kile, so as we kickoff the holiday season, I’m inviting everyone to give back while burning off those extra Thanksgiving calories,” Raymond said. “In the process, you will be making a camper’s dream come true.”

‘O Give Thanks!’ Thanksgiving Day Worship Service

The City of Atlanta District 10 Ministerial Alliance will continue its tradition of hosting the annual Thanksgiving Day Worship Service at 9 a.m., on Thursday, November 28. The host church will be Greater Mountain Baptist Church, where Rev. D. D. Prather serves as the senior pastor. The service will be held at the Concord Baptist Church located at 3270 Boulder Park Drive, Atlanta, GA 30311. The Guest Speaker will be Rev. Mack Simmons of the Welcome all Baptist Church. The District 10 Ministerial alliance is composed of pastors and ministries throughout the Atlanta City Council District 10 and was formed to address both the social and spiritual needs of the city of Atlanta at large. Pastor Freddie Woods of the Agape Church of God is the current moderator of the alliance.
