Vocalist Dottie Peoples earned a proclamation, in honor of her 30 years in the gospel music industry. Atlanta City Council President Ceasar C. Mitchell presented Peoples with the distinct honor.

Norma Joy Barnes, CEO of the Community Council of Metropolitan Atlanta, Inc. and founder of the Priority Male Initiative, was presented the Lifetime Non-Profit Trinity Award.

Barnes has amassed more than 40 years of volunteer service, which began during her college days and continues today.

Levi Brice Edouna Obama, from Marietta, is a Visine Students With Vision Program winner. Obama will join the sustainability program at Duke University this fall and aims to spearhead global green initiatives.
